GlobalCool hareketini destekleyenler için Myspace’te ‘GlobalCool’ profili, Facebook’ta ise ‘I’m a greenie’ grubu bulunuyor. Bunun dışında ‘Cool’ olmayı öğrenmek, yani ‘bugün ‘cool’ bir şey yapıp gezegeni kurtarmak’ için, çok pratik ipuçlarına da bu internet sitesi üzerinden ulaşılabiliyor. Pink’ten Prens Charles’a kadar 10 ünlü tarafından desteklenen kampanyada, Vodafone (Bugün eski cep telefonlarınızı geri dönüştürün) ve Google gibi markaları da bulmak mümkün.
GlobalCool is one of social responsibility campaigns against global warming which we have often met, but it’s an independent social responsibility platform which gives the brands the opportunity to contribute to the act. This movement aims to get a billion people to reduce their personal CO2 emissions by at least 1 tone. In order to support the campaign and to own a membership card (My CO2 Workout Card), It’s sufficient to complete the pledge form about how the reduce the personal CO2 emissions at home, at work and away on www.globalcool.org . Plus, there are a GlobalCool group named as ‘I’m a greenie’ and Myspace profile named as GlobalCool. In this campaign which is hold by some celebrities as Pink, Prince Charles, Tony Blair, Sienna Miller, it’s possible to see Vodafone (‘I want your old mobile phone’) and Google as supportive brands.
